Frequently asked questions
When travellers ask AI where to stay, does AI name your hotel?
Everything hoteliers ask us about AI discovery, measurement and what to do about it.
How do I know if AI recommends my hotel?
AIDENTYA runs 20–30 realistic guest searches — location, category, experience, needs, value and branded intents — through AI assistants with live web grounding, then records whether your property was named, in which position, and which hotels were recommended instead.
What is an AI Discovery Score?
It is a 0–100 score built from four measured signals: non-branded mention rate (45%), branded mention rate (20%), how often you appear as a top recommendation (20%) and your share of voice against the competitors AI names (15%). Every point is traceable to a stored answer from the scan.
Which AI engines are tested?
Today AIDENTYA runs verified scans on Google Gemini with Google Search grounding. ChatGPT and Perplexity are coming soon and are clearly labelled as such in the product — we never show simulated engine results.
Do I need to install anything on my hotel website?
No. You enter your hotel website URL and the analysis starts. Installing a small verification meta tag or file is only needed if you want to claim ownership of the property and permanently link scans, actions and reports to your account.
How is this different from SEO?
Classic SEO measures ranking in a list of blue links. AIDENTYA measures whether an AI assistant actually names your hotel when a traveller asks where to stay — a single recommendation instead of a page of results. The fixes are hospitality-specific: positioning, amenities, guest-intent content and structured hotel data.
How much does AIDENTYA cost?
The first AI Discovery Scan is free and shows your score, mention rate, top competitors and your biggest opportunity. AIDENTYA PRO is €49.99 per month and unlocks the full improvement plan, recurring scans, competitor alerts, PDF reports and before/after measurement.
How often should a hotel rescan?
Monthly. AI answers change as the web changes, so the loop is: scan, implement the recommended actions, rescan, and compare the new score against the previous verified scan to see what improved and what did not.
Where does the competitor list come from?
It is not a list we choose. Competitors are extracted from the actual AI answers: every hotel the assistant recommended on a search where it could have recommended you, ranked by how often it appeared.
